Twenty adolescent peer educators from Kathmandu, Bhairahawa, and Nepalgunj recently participated in a comprehensive Three-day Workshop focused on advocacy and communication skills. Throughout the workshop, these enthusiastic participants gained valuable insights into the significance of advocacy concerning children’s issues. They also enhanced essential communication skills that will empower them to effectively disseminate knowledge on sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) among their peers in various schools. Equipped with newfound knowledge and skills, these adolescent educators will visit 10 schools each, in their local areas to share their knowledge on SRHR with their peers. This workshop not only enhanced their understanding of their communication skills but also prepared them to confidently engage and educate others on critical health-related topics.
